The 2022 World Cup schedule is very well-planned. Four matches are played each day in the group stage within a 46-mile radius. The match schedules and timings are set up so that the audience can fully enjoy the game.
Like every other edition, this year, the format for FIFA World Cup 2022 will be the same. A 32-team group stage will reduce the field to 16 teams, with only the top two teams from each group qualifying for the next rounds. After that, the 16 winners of the previous matches will compete in a single-game knockout tournament. The winning team will move forward to the next rounds. The World Cup 2022 will kick off its first match on November 20, with Qatar hosting the tournament, and continue until December 2. The knockout phases will be held for the top 16 teams, and the quarter-finals will be held on December 9 and 10, with the last-16 rounds taking place between December 3 and 6. The semi-finals, which will have a lot on the line, will take place on December 13 and 14, with the final on December 18 — the day after bronze medals will be awarded in a third-place play-off.
