Jebel Jais Flight – fly like a falcon

Jebel Jais is the leading tourism destination in the country for intrepid travelers. It is the highest mountain of the country and home to the world’s longest zip line where you can ride at a speed of up to 120 kph to 150 kph. Experience the thrilling zip line ride which is at a height of 1,680 meters above the sea level. Jebel Jais Flight takes approximately three minutes to cross the 1.74-miles long zip line.

Things to know

  • The participant should be between 40 Kg and 130 Kg of weight, and minimum height should be 1.22 meters.
  • Every participant is protected by high safety equipment.
  • Participant must feel comfortable even after the gears strapped. Athletic clothing is recommended.

 

Via Ferrata

Via FerrataThe Via Ferrata or Iron Road is the region’s most exciting and thrilling activity. It includes three courses along the rocky paths of Jebel Jais – The Ledge Walk, the Middle Path, and Julphar Scare. Three courses feature zip lines, measuring 165 feet, 195 feet, and 985 feet respectively. The route is aided by cable, steel pedals and metal-ladder rungs fixed onto the rocks.

Participants will have to prove themselves on a standard course before being allowed on one of the technical routes.

The tours start from 8 AM and 1 PM. The Ledge Walk takes about 4 hours to complete while the Middle Path and Julphar Scare take 3.5 hours and 1.5 hours respectively.

Note: Participants must be at least 12 years old and should weigh at least 41 kgs and no more than 95 kgs.
