Qantas Airways Booking Classes

Qantas Airways booking can be done for four different travel classes.

Economy class - The ergonomically designed and slim-line seats with built-in lumbar support allows passenger to feel comfort thought the flight.

Premium Economy class - Passengers would feel relax and comfort in the private cabin with more personalised service in the premium economy class.

Business Class - Passengers can sit back in the fully flat Sky beds and be entertained by the advanced in-flight entertainment system.

First Class - Guests can sit back and get entertained by different range of options on wide touch screens.

Qantas Airlines Online Check In

Qantas online check in is available for a seamless flying experience and also the traveler can print their own boarding pass.

Domestic flights: Qantas online check in is available 24 hours up to 30 minutes before the flight departure for domestic trips.

International flights: Qantas online check in is available 24 hours up to 2 hours before the flight departure for international journeys.

Qantas Airways recommends checking in well in advance. Passengers should check their tickets for the details regarding airport check in.

Qantas flight status update can be obtained by the route & the flight number for passengers with confirmed Qantas Airways booking. Select the arrival/departure points and enter the below information to know your flight status updates:

By route: Departing/arriving destination & depart date 

By flight number: Flight number and date of journey

Qantas Airways Baggage Allowance

Qantas Airways baggage allowance is excellent for both international and domestic flights.

International Flights

• Economy Class - 30 Kg

• Premium Economy Class - 40 Kg

• Business Class - 40 Kg

• First Class - 50 Kg

Each checked-in baggage must not exceed the overall dimensions of 158cm.

Note: No restriction on number pieces to be carried on international flights except flights to/from South and North America.

• Economy Class - 2 pieces up to 23kg

• Premium Economy Class - 2 pieces up to 23kg

• Business Class - 3 pieces up to 32 Kg

• First Class - 3 pieces up to 32 Kg

Note:

3 pieces should not exceed the overall dimensions of 405cm.

2 pieces should not exceed the overall dimensions of 270cm.

Baggage allowance for infants: Infants are entitled to carry 10 Kg on board.

Domestic Flights

• Economy Class - 1 piece (up to 23 Kg)

• Business Class - 2 pieces (each piece up to 32 Kg)

Total dimensions of each piece must not exceed 140 Cm.

Note: No single bag should exceed weight of 32 Kg.

Carry-on Baggage: Qantas Airlines allows all the travel class passengers to carry 7kgs of carry-on baggage on board. In addition to this passengers can carry one personal item like hand bag or laptop bag etc.
